Silver Trowel Trade Training, established in 1997, is located in Cannington, a southern suburb of Perth in Western Australia. The Institute offers a variety of skills-based and trade apprenticeship training courses for bricklaying, solid plastering and roof tiling as well as traineeships in concreting and general construction. Silver Trowel offers certificate programs in Bricklaying/Blocklaying, Carpentry, Solid Plastering, Wall and Floor Tiling, Health Training and Business. The Institute also offers a Diploma of Management program. The school was winners of the 2010 Australian Ethnic Business Awards, the 2009 WA Industry and Export Awards for Education and Training and the 2008 and 2010 WA Industry and Export Awards for Emerging Exporters of International Education.
