US Colleges

Seattle Colleges is an open-access institution committed to student success and fostering a diverse, dynamic community. The district includes three colleges—Seattle Central in Capitol Hill, North Seattle in the Northgate/Licton Springs area, and South Seattle on a scenic hilltop in West Seattle—each offering unique environments and specialized programs. Students can explore eight Areas of Study: Arts and Design; Business; Culinary and Hospitality; Education and Human Services; Health; STEM; Skilled Trades; and Social Sciences. The College Transfer program prepares students for seamless transitions to four-year institutions, meeting associate degree requirements along the way.

Established in 1929, Los Angeles City College (LACC) boasts one of the most diverse campuses in the nation, located near Hollywood, Silver Lake, and Echo Park. Offering over 100 professional and vocational programs, including degrees, certificates, and transfer pathways, LACC provides affordable, high-quality education to over 18,000 students. Recognized as a top Southern California community college by USA Today News, LACC opens pathways to advanced education and careers. Through the LA College Promise, LACC offers one year of free tuition to full-time LAUSD graduates. Music majors also enjoy tuition-free attendance and financial aid, supported by The Herb Alpert Foundation.
